STUDENT OUTREACH
Fresno Reel Pride realizes the importance of creating a safe space for LGBTQ youth to discover their true, authentic selves.
ALL YOUTH ARE WELCOME AT REEL PRIDE
Fresno Reel Pride was the idea of two Fresno State students who had a vision of showcasing LGBTQ cinema in order to bring the community together. That idea has transpired into what we now know today as one of the oldest LGBTQ film festivals in the United States.
Fresno Reel Pride is proud to offer the following benefits to high school and college students:
-
FREE admission to the Youth Film Festival;
-
A chance to connect with other students and explore resources at our Youth Film Festival Resource Fair;
-
Discounted tickets to all age-appropriate films;
-
Volunteer opportunities for high school and college students;
-
Student tailored presentations for high school and college classes and student-led clubs.
