TRANS - The Movie
TRANS is an extraordinary documentary feature about boys and girls, men and women, and all the variations in between. Featured in the film is the story of Chloe Anne Lacey (born Justin Brian Lacey), a Clovis kid and a Buchanan graduate in 2009 who tragically ended her life in September 2010.
The transgender community is perhaps one of the most misunderstood and mistreated in America and around the world. Inspired by the incredible story of Dr. Christine McGinn and her work as a transgender surgeon, TRANS provides an up-close and very personal vision into the lives, loves, and challenges of a remarkable cast of characters of all ages and from all walks of life: extraordinary people who face fear, discrimination, ignorance, and violence in the hopes that they might one day be able to live ordinary lives.
