Closeted 16 year-old teen Zach Stark's worst fears came true in 2005, when his parents sent him to a camp run by the ex-gay Christian reform group ‘Love In Action’ against his will.  Zach began blogging about his experiences to his friends and through the concurrent rise of viral media, the news of his plight spread. Interviews by Zach’s friends, organizers, ex-clients, leaders of the American Psychological Association, and even the Rev. John Smid himself, who was Executive Director of 'Love In Action' at the time of Zach’s internment, recount the events which eventually led to the closure of the controversial program.
