Winner of the Outfest (2005) Grand Jury Prize for Outstanding American Narrative Feature
Tim Kirkman (The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me) returns to Reel Pride with his latest and hauntingly beautiful tale of love, loss, and the longing for connection.
The film includes a stellar cast, including Bonnie Hunt and Tess Harper, and supporting players such as Michael Learned, Michael Kelly and Chris Sarandon in roles that helped to make Loggerheads a 2005 Sundance favorite.
Loggerheads interweaves time periods and stories, each set on three separate Mother's Day weekends in different geographical regions of North Carolina. Mark (stunning hunk Kip Pardue) is a gay drifter with a past, determined to save the endangered loggerhead turtles in a small coastal town, while running from a past and his family. When he meets George, the sexy motel owner, Mark must choose whether to save himself as well.
